Crab Nebula, The best Image yet!

If your gadgets and Gizmos include a telescope, Then you would certainly like this. The image was a product of Hubble Space telescope. And it is a composite of several images taken in 1999 and 2000. The time I was so attached, mentally and workwise to the Hubble Telescope. Too bad that it will not be up for very long.

The new image released will help researchers better understand the phenomenon that created the nebula—a supernova explosion. The blast, which signaled the death of a star 6,500 light years from Earth, was seen by Japanese and Chinese astronomers in 1054.
